My latest trio brought me here on a Tuesday night. It's not a terribly busy night so I was seated right away. Service was slow but my server was Laura and she was very friendly and helpful.

Orinigally I didn’t want to say anything. I had been to enough pretentious tourist-trap places to even bother complaining in the form of a review on social network websites. I already told the waitress that our food was “fine” when she came to check on us, and I would stay silent if it was not for this goddamn good french onion soup I am finally having in my go-to pub in a ski village. I already had a couple drinks and I felt like spilling my guts out.

Service is lovely, food is great. Have eaten here a few times and Comparable to the other restaurants around this was likely the best. The loss of a star was for an undercooked steak.

I started with a half portion of the crispy calamari. The batter was light and crispy, with the calamari warm and tender. It was well complimented by the house made martini cocktail sauce and tartar sauce.

My drink of choice was their "le titan", with Jameson, apple juice, raspberries and citrus to garnish. Not overly sweet, and refreshing on this first day of summer.

Went with my father , He got the steak and i got the lamb. Lamb was super tender and the steak was cooked very well. The service was very nice and food came out on good time.

Nope, my husband and I didn’t have a good time at your resto. A place looking prominent like yours had us really disappointed. I ordered a French onion soup which came promptly. The cheese topping was burnt, and the soup base was too salty. Okay, any kitchen staff could have a bad night and I can forgive that. Then 25 minutes later, came my salad. 25 minutes for a salad... Was it a busy night? Nope. Empty tables were seen around and certainly no lineup at the door. The salad was unfortunately over-dressed. Our waitress came checking on us, which I told her fine, because I always thought after all a restaurant’s food sucks had nothing to do with the waitstaff, so why not make it easier on the waitstaff. I still remember how I hated it when I encountered fussy customers years ago when I was a waitress myself. So I poured half of my glass of water in the salad and ate half of it. Husband’s comment to his $49 filet mignon dish was “the side rice was the best about the dish”.

I ordered the 12 ounce prime rib, and I was not disappointed. The steak was tender and juicy, cooked to a perfect medium. The meat melted in my mouth and the au jus it came with was only needed for the fries.

Our waitress brought our bill, which belonged to another table (way cheaper than what we ordered). Feeling unhappy and sarcastic about the dining experience, husband gave me an eye signal “let’s not point it out”. But of course, our waitress was good at keeping an eye on her potential good tip. After she entered the amount, and just before she passed the machine to us, she realized it wasn’t our bill. “Oh mon Dieu!” She said and quickly left with the bill, then shortly returned with the right one.

I highly recommend this place even if the speed of service was slower than expected today.
